All my crxs have been very good to me. It is all about the owner and not only the maintenance work but how the work has been done.
I even have a y49 for a winter beater with no problems what so ever.

nha u guys have no clue first i change master cylinder and buss a brake line then i prime the car and all of a suddin im leakin antifreez then i take her out for a drive the clutch starts slipiing like a bitch im almost scared to paint it ,the engine might catch on flames or somethin

Its a 20 year old car....wtf do you expect, If you dont want to rebuild/repair/restore, then go buy/lease something new.
As soon as i paid for my CRX and pulled into my driveway anti-freeze shot out about 10 feet in front of the car cause of a giant hole in the rad.
You laugh, and get on the phone and order a radiator, simple as that.
Its a 20 year old car....wtf do you expect, If you dont want to rebuild/repair/restore, then go buy/lease something new.

the only reasion the Y49 is cursed is because a amazing tunner with a mad tuned y49 on boost blew the doors off a gypsi in her yellow civic type r 
in anger she cursed the color of all cars because she chouldent see the driver

like what alot of people said, 20 year old cars (domestic or import) are still 20 year old cars..I just picked up a y-49 and was quick to learn about the 'y-49 curse' But even though I am very superstitious I can't let that always worry me. Granted there were a few previous y-49 CRX's that I was looking into that had been wrecked I think that and a history of the other yellow crx 'curses' is just paranoia and coincidence because I know alot of people no matter what color their Rex is and it has weird problems or they even wreck it.
