2006 Honda Odyssey 16 In. Wheels - Tire is 235 65R15 - How tall can I go?
Here is a strange one. I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey 16 In. Wheels. The problem is a very steep driveway. Undercarriage rubs ever so slightly when I have 3 or 4 people in the van at the top of my driveway.
It's time for new tires. How big can I go? The factory tires are 235 65R16
Can I go:
A) 275 70R16
B) 265 70R16
C) 245 70R16
D) None of the above - stick with the factory sizing
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks,
John

I would stick with the factory sizing. If you get oversized tires, they are likely to rub in the wheel wells, so you're just trading one rubbing problem for another.
Is it possible that a firmer suspension (i.e. aftermarket shocks) would allow less bottoming with the added weight in the car? Maybe, I'm not sure.
