Default 812whp horsepower S2000

off season is boring, so i figured i'd post a few pictures of a car we have been working on since everybody that comes here freaks out over this thing.

the car was brought to us from a customer about 5 hours away

for whatever reason it was brought to us with 4psi springs in the wastegates, so we used c02. we have it set up that when he triggers the 2nd stage of boost on his NLR AMS-500 boost controller, it switches from manifold pressure on top of the gate to c02.

we tried to avoid swapping gate springs since the wastegates are extremely difficult to get to, and more importantly the flanges on the manifold are warped, and the welds holding the gate flange to the manifold are too big so i had to be rather creative to get it all to work, but it has 15psi springs in the gates now.

the car has way more gadgets and gismo's and nitrous intercooler sprayer, meth injectoion and this, that, and the other on it which it would never have had if it came here first, but we did the best with what we had to work with.

we installed a PPG dogbox tranny in the car, and the thing is amazing (other than the gearing is way too long IMO) the way it shifts makes my liberty look bad

so uhhhh, i guess this is a drag race, street race, car show, drift, bling, and whatever else you want to call it type of car? yup.......

AEM tuning done by Brad Brooks

and just because its a little different, and a really clean car....here is our painters car, it was the first car i tuned on throttleboddies.

ignore all the vacuum lines all over the place. i had a lot of stuff set up temporary as i was testing out the c02/manifold pressure solenoid and everything else. im sure there is some temporary wiring you can see in the pictures too. now that its done on the dyno, i can clean it all up and send it on its way

Very nice work. The hard lines and fuel system is something you don't see regularly.

42r- dont know any thing else about it. pistons/rods/cams/ everything is an unknown mystery, i guess the customer just paid the other shop and didnt ask what parts they were using, its made everything a lot more difficult.

the stock pump feeds the surge tank which feeds 2 bosch pump, but they are not the 044 pumps that you typically see. when it showed up, a 16gauge wire was tapped from the factory wiring that feeds the stock pump and split to both of the bosch pumps with no relays. with 3 pumps total, it also had a stock fuel pressure regulator. i dont know what was up with all of that

we did not do the fuel system, just installed a regulator and fixed the wiring

the exhaust manifold is something somebody? made. 2 of the 4 cylinders have severe cheater cuts directly off of the head flange, and it has the "busiest" looking collector ever. spool up on this thing is horrible, i suspect its the manifold.

its a pretty cool color, this isnt the standard color though-- it has some subtle customization to it

So that is the secret! A flux capacitor!!! The first pic is of a vintage 80's Delorian model and the second of the latest generation of flux capacitors!!! Tempest Racing uses all the goods, lol!
