Default Running V-AFC n/a

First off, i know dyno tuning is a must in order to receive results when it comes to running the v-afc. And i also know this is the ITR forum, but i have ITR parts in my c1. But my question here is, how much of a benifit is the v-afc if you are running a stock fuel set up besides a walbro fuel pump? internals are 11:1 comp, ITR cams, and a few other goodies..... Input is appreciated. Thanks guys.

I don't have one myself, but I've been around here long enough and I'm positive that it could make a difference with what you've got. At the very least it could smooth out the curve. Just my opinion. A lot of people I know get one just for the basic bolt-ons and it helps them.

getting rid of "bumps" on the dyno plot is worth it alone i'd believe for a highly modified engine.

gaining whp is icing in the cake.

The V-AFC is always good for tuning at least a few hp across the board.

i was running it on my car and when i took it off it ran a LOT better, and i know this is because i never had it tuned on the dyno. I was just wondering if anyone had dyno results from running the v-afc before and after to show actual results. I will probably leave the v-afc off until i have a chance to put it on the dyno.

I've got it on and have not tuned it, I've had it for over a year now. Been flaking, been wanting to get cams and tune everything together, but you know how it goes,, research, buy suspension, new alarm yadi yadi yada. SO far I use it to adjust the VTEC engagement which comes in handy for SOLO2. I have the wire harnes so I take it off when I need to take it to the dealer, but I do not notice a difference, except for when the VTEC kicks in.

From all the articles I have seen, none with an R, I have seen a 3 to 4 whp gain.
