1991 CRX
SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
I have for sale a 1991 Honda CRX. It is a dx body but it is basically completely converted to a si model. Comes with complete si interior, sunroof, si wheels, si tranny and a d16y7 out of a 98 Civic dx. Body does have some cancer (rust). Title in hand and it's clean. Here is a complete list of everything I can think of...
-1991 Crx dx w/ 149,000 on body
-Complete si interior
-Sunroof
-Si wheels
-D16y7 with 90-95k (runs strong)
-Bigger fuel injecters
-Short ram intake
-Short shifter
-Headers
-Catback exhaust
-New black corner lenses
-Alteza Tailights
-Blue Streetglow high beam bulbs
-Brand new alternator
-Brand new fuel filter
-Brand new, still in box Stage 1 Clutchmasters clutch (not installed... read below)
-Inspected till June 08
THE BAD:
I want to list everything that is wrong with the crx so that you know what you are buying...
-Body Rust
-Front bumper is pretty rough with some cracks and the paint is peeling
-Hood is not white like the rest of the car.. it's painted camo
-Sunroof leaks a little
-Clutch is slipping (have the stage 1 CM clutch that will come with the car... uninstalled)
-Speedometer just (4/5/08) quit working. Speedo cable probably just came loose from the tranny... it's as simple as getting in there and plugging it back in
-Driver seat has a tear, it's covered up with a seat cover right now... will include
Now, don't let all the bad turn you away... this car runs and drives fine now other than the slipping clutch. I'm still driving it and will be until probably Wednesday when I get my jeep. Car is actually very quick and with the stage 1 clutch installed she will be moving once again. Very fun to drive and could turn some heads with some body work.
I purchased this crx with hopes of fixing her up. Since then I've realized I don't really have the time, resources, or money to do so. With college on the way this fall I decided to purchase a jeep that I could pay off before college. I no longer need the car and could use the cash to help pay the jeep off before college.
Asking $1,500 OBO... feel free to call me anytime during the week 12:30-11:00 or anytime on the weekend with any questions or to set up a time you could come look at it. (814)762-4155
