so my friend gave me his d series out of his 91 crx to use until i finish building my motor but it wont fit. this is going into my 88 crx, both are si's. i cant get the driver side, and rear mount bolted but the passenger mount is to short. its lined up correct and everything looks good but it is about a inch to short.
help me out i have no idea why, are the mounts differnt between these years?
what am i missing??

 

try using your old d series mounts.

 

the mounts are adjustable but there is only like a half inch of adjustabilty but the mounts are the same. so something is probably up
