I start my car its fine goes to idle(600rpm) but then as I giv it sum gas and let go it fluctuates from 1500to1000to1300then to idle slowly again this is not a major problem but when I drive it is on the highway I drive for 10 min in 5th and push the clutch the rpm doesn't idle to 600rpm it stays at like 2500rpm and fluctuates but doesnt completly idle which will eat up my gas any help

 

have you ever changed any of the sensors? like the tps, map, o2 sensor...any of those things?

 

Possible causes:

-dirty IACV (clean with carburetor cleaner)

-air in the cooling system (bleed)

-check for intake air or vacuum leaks (spray carburetor cleaner around hoses & IM & TB gaskets and look for idle change)

 

Throttle plate stuck from build up? Check it out.

 

You should try cleaning out your IACV or replacing yours with one that you know works. I had a problem that sounded kinda like this.

and I'll have to bleed and chk for air leaks
