ok, i had an axle vibration under load, so i went ahead and replaced both axles due to both of them losing grease at the inner joint. now i have a strange vibration at around 3000 RPM. it doesn't really have anything to do with speed, more RPM. the only thing i did was change axles. i'm confusd. i'm going to attempt to switch to the old axles one at a time and see if that affects anything. it's very strange, but i'm pretty sure it's the axles. cause if i hold it at the RPM, and saw the wheel, it sounds as though the pavement is grooved. when it's not... any recommendations?

 

btw, it's on a bone-stock 91 Civic Si.

 

I think that if it's vibrating with the rpm, it shouldn't be the axles, something closer to the engine or more engine related, mounts maybe?

 

that's what one would think, but this only happened AFTER i replaced the axles. this definately wasn't happening beforehand.
