Suspension/steering bits, Drag DR21 wheels, Dunlop DZ101 tires, mini photo shoot - lots o' pics
Well, I recently needed to rebuild part of the front end of my hatch. The lower control arms, upper & lower ball joints, inner & outer tie rods, axles, tires, and wheels were all replaced. So here is my documentation of the process.
First up I ordered the wheels:

They came packaged better than I expected:

Rim protector w/ hair net:

Didn't care for the center caps so I took them out:

They weigh in @ 14 lbs. on my home scale and with the local hardware stores scale which is verified to be accurate by the state each year:

Got some muteki lugnuts to go with them (thanks Evasive!
):

Can't have wheels w/o tires:

And again I weighed them at home and at the store:

Also got some hubcentric rings from this guy on ebay http://myworld.ebay.com/eurosportgarage:

You can see the 56.1mm here:

Wheel before hubcentric ring:

Wheel after hubcentric ring:

Skunk2 redesigned upper ball joints from jhpusa.com:

I couldn't swallow the $220+ a side for the LCAs from Honda, so I bought some off of ebay from this person http://myworld.ebay.com/anhautoparts. They look almost identical to the oem pieces, plus they have a 3 year warranty:

Same part number as OEM:

Thread protector:

Side-by-side with the old oem piece:

OEM Honda lower ball joints & inner & outer tie rod ends:

And the finished product:

Thanks for looking!

lol, it is dropped!
Don't really want to drop it any more right now. It's my every day daily driver. I've already hit something in the road with it at that height and it slashed my oil pan.

It's all good man! It does sit higher in the back than I would like, but it rides good so I can't complain.
Right now it has the stock d16z6 in it. The only thing I have added to it performance wise is an ITR catback. I'd like to build a motor sometime, but it will have to wait at least a year until I get my degree.
