Im bout to do a swap on my 94 Civic and im still deciding in a Gsr or H22 motor ... I could get the H22 for cheap but dont know much bout h22 and wanted to know if there any aftermarket parts for the H22.... or should i save a little extra and go with the Gsr.. let me know what you guys think.
thanks
thanks
There are tons of aftermarket parts/options for both... The H22 weighs a lot more than the B18, thus you will have a little bit of a tougher time getting the front end to ride right, but that is no biggie...
That being said, the H22 will require (if I remember correctly) all new custom mounts, as well as cable-operated shift linkage and the mounting/drilling for that... You will also have issues with your axles breaking... The H22 is a sweet motor, but it sure as hell isn't an easy one to swap in and get right...
