I took my boosted D16Y8 out of storage tonight and drove it around and noticed my Maintenance required light was on, what can make this happen?

 

thats its been a while and maintenence is required lol. i think when u get ur car serviced or oiled changed they reset it and after 3000 miles or something like that it comes back on

 

Are you talking about the Green->Orange-ish->Red Indicator at the bottom of your cluster OR the Check Engine light?

If it's the first one, take your key and push the tab (after you've actually performed maintenance). If it's the latter, find out the code and consult your manual.
