Default Erratic idling!

Whats up guys?
So sometimes after i start the car it idles pretty rough, around 500 rpms, a few seconds later it evens out. Or after the car starts it idles at too high a rpm around 2000. This happes mainly when im driving and i pull the car out of gear at a light or something. So what could be the deal? Fuel pump? Anything helps guys

Is the CEL ON and is the ECU LED blinking a code?

Sounds like a dirty or faulty EACV. First try cleaning it with some carburetor cleaner.

I agree. If you have a B16 engine, then you would first focus on the FIV. If you have a D16, then focus on the EACV.

bubbles in the coolant, don't forget to check that too when those don't work.

Thought it was iacv, not eacv.

Just different names for essentially the same idle control device from different generation Civics. EACV = Electronic Air Control Valve

Besides my D15B1 engine being all squeaky, this is also what is happening to me, King Of Nothing, did you have the engine rebuilt lately?

I have yet to put my engine into gear, since it's still in my Father's garage, in his backyard blocked in.
