A very newb question!!! Tranny problem

Default A very newb question!!! Tranny problem

Well my c ar keeps popping out of fifth when im just cruising down the street. I think it may just be low tranny fuid but my question is where in the hell do i had tranny fluid. I cant find what bolt i need to remove to service my tranny.
A quick answer would be appreciated i gotta drive to work in the morning.
BTW its a B18C w/ JDM b16 with LSD

I doubt it is just low fluid. That probably would not cause it to pop out of gear.

Anyways the fluid fill is above the passenger side axle and little to the back. I believe it is a 17mm bolt. It is a huge pain in the a$$ to fill it.

I would make sure all your engine/transmission mounts are tight because that could cause your trans to pop out of gear. Also check your shifter bushings. If all of that is good, then I would guess that you have internal transmission problems.

What shifter linkages are you using with your swap anyways? did you buy a kit or fab your own? incorrect length can cause this problem.

i have the hasport linkage with this swap and the hasport mounts as well. Shifter bushings are energy suspension..... so im lost here but thanks for the info

Thought the tranny bolt was passenger side that takes a half socket to open. It's not hard to find, just take off the passenger tire and it's right there in your face, gold in color, there should be 2 of the half socket bolts, just stick it in there and twist.
