Ok, so i've been looking around for exhausts that aren't incredibly loud as to get me in trouble, but also have a good look to it. The Apexi World Sport 2 catback seems like it'd be great for what i want. But i also don't want it to be so quiet that i won't be able to hear it. I've got a 99 Si with a straight pipe to bypass the resonator, stock otherwise. What do you think? Does it have a good sound? i've heard a lot between "it's really quiet" and "it's got a good tone".

 

It sounds like you've made your mind up already and have done your research. Now it's time to invest in one and I'm sure it'll sound b.a.

 

I'm trying to come across someone who's had one and liked the sound or thought it just sounded like stock with better flow.

 

it sounds good,it is quiet but will scream if u get on it enough. maybe you should just considerin gettin rid of ur current straight pipe.that will make you quieter

 

the straight pipe is on the intake, my bad for not elaborating. spoon makes a carbon fiber part that bypasses the huge resonator which makes the engine louder and more responsive. but i do want to be able to hear my exhaust if i rev my engine a bit. which is why i'm trying to find out if it's got a nice rumble to it, sounds like a ricer, or sounds stock.

 

in that case get it,it doesnt sound ricer at all, all it sounds like is ur motor is louder,so u can def hear it.

 

I really like mine, its not loud at all at idle and sounds nice daily driving, but it screams when I get on it. but dont think u wont get pulled over with it, I got rolled with it and got a warning, it shows u they will pull u over no matter what exhuast u have
