So my dad's '92 Prelude S is having a weird problem; the digital gause and temperature gauges just turned off and seem not to work anymore. They don't come on anymore, and after doing a search I can't find any topics on this..so anyone have any idea what might be going on?

 

been driving this way for 2+ years on my 92 Si.

pulled the dash and the digital display, and found only that my AC solder points needed to be re-soldered (A/C blows now), but nothing wrong with the temp/fuel gauge by appearance.

figured I needed a new one, but they're rather costly, even with employee discount.
