Hi all

I have an 89 Accord that dies when shifted to drive. I have replaced the carb cause it was bad. It seems to start find just alitle hesistation but idles fine wen started. As soon as i shift to drive it dies rather quickly the only exception is is when i shift it with my foot on the throttle but as soon as i let off it dies. any ideas?

 

Try replacing the pcv valve. Just had the same problem with my 87 accord only diff is that it is a stick but it fixed the problem.

WHEN THE CAR IS ON CHECK YOUR ECU,WHICH IS UNDER THE DRIVERS SEAT, AND CHECK IF A LIGHT BLINKS.
