Default Need help ID'ing a part

There is a part on my H23A engine, hangking below the intake manifold.

I'm (still) in the process of swapping in a F22B1 and find I have this extra plug which goes to the black box below the manifild.

I imagine that the Accord I took the engine from has the same thing mounted on the firewall or something, but I didn't get it from the car when I pulled the donor engine.

If someone can help me ID the part and tell me what to do with the extra pluf, I sure would appreaciate it.

Thanx in advance.

A picture would help a whole lot more. I think I know what your talking about, I just swapped the one off the H23 and put it on my h22 when I did my swap back in december.

It is most likely the vacuum reservoir for the IABs, which are the butterflies in the secondary intake runner.

You know I tried to post a picture, which I have, but couldn't for the life of me figure out how to attached it.

I see "no1knows908" indicated that it might be the Vacuum Reservior.

How did you handle the plug to the "Vacuum Reservior" or black box as i call it?

Any other general hints as to what else you had problem with?

As of right now, I need to go back and pull off of the F22B (Accord):
1) Throttle cable as the mounting brkt on the intake manafold is further away
2) Gas Line as the connection is on the opposite side of the motor
3) Power Steering Pump as the mounting bracket doesn't fit

Thanks.

Is there an equivalent on the Accord? Where is it located if not on the engine - the firewall?
