RealTime Racing pix - @ Road America this Sun. [* bandwidth! 21 pix *]
I finally got to see the RealTime cars in person at Road America this Sunday. Pretty cool! I think it's great that you can get up close to the cars and crew; what other sport or event is like that? Here's some pix I took in the pits.

I don't know if you were asking this seriously, but at CART events you can pay a little $$ and basically go right in the garages. Well, not right in, but very close.

Can you all help me a little here....
try to get pics of THE BACKSIDE of the brake rotors (where the beake ducts terminate)
Thanks a million!
Oh, and to offer my help...
realtime should start next year (or as soon as they feel its will win)
And it was Andrew who made one and broke it his first race. He will no longer be able to continue with that project.
The Realtime cars make around 210hp AT THE CRANK. (remember they use restrictor plates too!

What's a restrictor plate?
restrictor plate blocks the air into the intake manifold... to limit the size of the opening.
less air opening.. less HP the motor will make. They do that to make it more "competative" or it will really walk all over the rest of the field.

That's Jerry - the crew chief.
Chris - the brake duct hose is connected to a carbon fiber backing plate that goes where the original dust shield was.

i may be wrong, but are those brake rotors on backwards, arent they suppose to rotate throw gases out, not sucking air in....?
