Default Cheapman's type r or a d15b vtec lsd?

hi i was wondering if i should spend a grand on a cheapman's type r or a d15b vtec lsd? i was planning to go single cam, but i love the sound of dual cam vtec. Any inputs?

You're not off to a good start if you're cheaping out already. Do what you can afford, not what you dream of. If you don't have enough time, know-how, or money to do the Type R the right way, I suggest you don't do it at all

Do what you can afford to, but Having a D16Z6 with a little bit of boost is fun. I have built a couple in the past myself, and they were fun.

thanks for the input and yea imma probably go with the d15b vtec since it got lsd and all the equipment needed. i guess ill jux boost it later on and see what happens from there.

i had a single cam vtec and i stepped up to a dohc vtec and i was very impressed i think you will like the dohc better more tq.

go single cam since they are cheaper to replace if you blow them up. i got a stock d15b vtec in my car and am in the process of boosting.

r u running a d15b tranny? is it lsd? i wanna know cuz i was planning to buy one and i want some reviews on whether to save the money and get a stock tranny or get the lsd.
