Default Will Tein Super racing damper for DC2 fit the EF CRX?

Hi guys,

Tein does not offer the super racing damper for the crx, so i was just wondering if its possible to use the DC2 super racing damper on the CRX? I know for sure, the N1 suspension for the DC2 has a shortened shock body and with the adjustability on the ride height independent from the shock stroke, it look like it might just fit.

Does anyone have the actual shock length of the EF crx compared to the DC2 Super racing damper?

Thanks!

This is the super racing damper i'm looking at. They have DC2 application but not the CRX. Since the DC2 also utilises the eye mount rear suspension, i thought it might just fit the CRX. The only concern is the ride height, due to the longer suspension for the DC2. I believe the Super Racing damper has a shorter shock to begin with and is height adjustable independent of the stroke.

so im guessing that your rex is a 88 then? if it is then your going to have to make sure that it's for a type-r or a jdm eg cause if i remember right they use the same type lrca.

im using tein basic dampers for a dc2 in my 89 crx. you have to use the front shock forks from a dc2 because the diameter of the shock body is bigger on a dc2. if you have a 88 crx you need to replace the rear lca with a 89-91 lca.

not really. he could just be all baller and keep the lca and just get a type-r setup. cause it is basically the same except for the front forks being a little bit bigger(you know what i mean)

there are much better suspensions for $2500, You would be better having koni make a custom aluminum double adjustable shock for your application if thats what $ you want to spend

not to thread jack but i dont wanna start up a new thread, same question except reversed:

I got Tein RA's for an EF9-R and was wondering what it takes to fit them on my DC2? I need the front forks and that's it? Or will I need the ITR rear LCA's?

Also, I bought my camber kits to fit the DC2, will it still work even though the suspension was meant for an EF?
