i need some help i got a jdm h23 and im thinking about getting cams im not all that intrested in the hp gain but more into what will it sound like and if it will allow me to rev past 6500 rpm thanks.

cams aren't going to allow you to rev higher... it's a fuel cut by ecu

 

go buy the biggest cam you can buy. Guaranteed to make it sound different. When you hear the "bang", just keep revving.

Your best bet for a nice sound is to get Direct Exhaust Injection.

Buy a Chevy if you want to put a cam in just to hear the sound.

maybe the h23a3? thats what i got from osaka and they said it was jdm but then i did some searching and it came in some european cars and rovers. whatever the hell that is lol. anyways, the fuel rail was opposite like the h22a and egr had a different connector. someone correct me if im wrong

 

I thought the H23A3 was USDM? I wanna think it's a OBD2 96 H23, but don't quote me on that.
