Im just wondering what intake would fit in my EF with a B18C GSR. Yes i do have a Skunk2 Pro Series Intake Manifold, and no my battery is not getting relocated to the trunk. Ive seen many with aftermarket intakes on them or factory airboxes as well. What fits with this swap? Stock or aftermarket, it doesnt matter to me.
go with the aem intake. either short ram or cold air your choice i was gonna say the password one but i see you dont want to relocate the battery. so in that case id go with the aem.

word to big bird.
i have a cpl NIB aem dryflows here in my workshop for this very reason.
its not entirely true that piping makes NO difference, but it can really only go one way in our engine bay or it won't fit. so yeah, creativity is rather limited in our case. some cars i can see it making more of a difference.

ahh. now i see what you mean. like i said earlier aem has one. it is a hybrid one. it is made for the crx chassis and a b series motor. you would want to use the b16 or type r one since you bought the skunk2 manifold which is a replica of the type r.

I havent started putting the engine in the car yet as i am still waiting on my parts to come in the mail and all. Id rather not spend 215 bux on AEM, that just seems outrageous, if i have to i will but i would rather not. Id be happy if i can find a B16 intake and airbox for an EF. Basically one that came in an SI-R.

I understand that a tube is just a tube, but they have different bends for each model and i need to know what year and model car to get one for so i can get it off ebay. Seeing how its a GSR swap with a Skunk2 IM what would i need to order off ebay, one for an EF, DA or what?
I used an aem gsr intake, on my gsr swap. I wouldnt mind having a better fit though. the filter sits real close to the distributer and radiator hoses, and the fuel filter is also very close to the pipe. OH, and you WILL have to move your battery too, I almost forgot.
In the integra I think the prop valve is in the same location that EF intakes run. Thats why the filter is crammed so close to the motor for integra's.
I was able to make an EF intake work, but the piping tapered down to a much smaller size, it was an Iceman intake, I'm not sure if others are the same size and tapered design though.
The EF intake was kinda straight (along with other kinks) and the integra intake is kind of an L shape.
I'm confusing myself now
But I bet the aem swap specific intakes fit well.
cheap option..... i dont know.

Well i have a stock airbox and hose running on it now, the throttle body is way smaller than a GSR of course. Ill just go ahead and get an AEM hyrbid one, i gotta get it done ASAP. Been searching too long and thats gonna be my best bet, thanks for the help though.
Get one for a DA! That's all you need... you'd think someone else in here would've had a B-series in an EF. The only reason the AEM hybrid one is good is because you can get a 3" one. You can buy one for $30 shipped on ebay for a DA(LS/GSR doesn't matter) and change the filter like everyone else said.
if your not relocating your battery to the back just make sue you cover up the positive terminal so your intake doesnt arc the the battery..... ive had friends not be able to pop their hoods cause of that
