Default password jdm intake

i have a 98 hatch with gsr w/ skunk2 intake manifold. just clearifying which intake i should buy. should i get one that is designated for the car or one designated for the motor?

password rep says that i could get any one and it should fit as the design is pretty much the same size whether it is for ek or dc2. i just want to know which one i should buy before i spend my money. kinda expensive.

1. should i buy the one for eg/ek

2. dc2 without abs ...(they have two one w/ abs)... (they say this one fits the skunk2 or type r manifold)

thanks in advance for any help.

Dont bother. Spend the money on a high quality drop-in filter (such as K&N or Spoon) for your stockbox. It yields the same results, if not, better. Only thing proven above that would be the AEM V2 intake.

Get the "S" shaped one. You want one for your car, not for your motor.

Password is OK, sometime it takes them awhile to ship but that's because they don't always have it available. I like the AEM intakes, sounds cool and you do feel the difference. The V2 is very nice...

Intakes such as ram air or cold air is nice for sound and looks imo. It has a few pros, but when it comes to performance.......not really that big.

haha yea that was what i was afraid of (what hollums2k) said. i heard they are not very good customer service wise but i dont have much experience with them. thanks for the help.

i do have another option, stock type R(DC) intake lying around. how much would a good drop in filter cost? and which one. any one have this set up? if any one has a Bseries swap with a type R intake in there PM me on how you made it fit. i tried but it doesnt seem to fit well but i dont want to cut up a type R intake.
