Default Pump ur tires with nitrogen

From MANCOR Industries Incorporated

A. Why inflate with Nitrogen?

Oxygen is your tire's worst enemy. Air is about 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 1% other. Nitrogen is inert, non combustible and non corrosive. Oxygen on the other hand is a destructive element. When tires are exposed to air, a long term and continuing deterioration begins - the oxidation of the rubber in the tire. What happens to a rubber band over time? It loses its elasticity and strength. This same process occurs in tires inflated with air as the oxygen attacks the rubber molecules, working from inside out until the oxygen permeates the tire structure and ultimately the tread.

B. Is All Nitrogen Gas Equal?

No, nitrogen is available from nitrogen generators in different purities, generally ranging from 95% (low purity) to 99.9% (high purity).

C. Why does Nitrogen Maintain Air Pressure Longer?

Nitrogen migrates through a tire slower than oxygen. For this reason your tires will maintain pressure longer resulting in longer life, better road handling, better braking and lower fuel consumption.

D. Why do Race Cars Use Nitrogen?

Nitrogen has long been used by NASCAR, Indy and Formula One race teams. Nitrogen air pressure is more stable than normal air pressure because air contains varying amounts of water vapor while nitrogen is dry. Water causes the air to be inconsistent in its rate of expansion and contraction. A race in the humid Southeast or a race in the arid desert make for unpredictable tire pressures affecting the cars set up for a race. The cars's handling through turns and straight aways are critical to winning and safety. The water vapor in air will become extremely hot during a race, even becoming hot steam that will attack the tire and cause blowouts.

E. Is having Nitrogen in my tires dangerous?

Absolutely not. Nitrogen is an inert gas, which means that it does not support combustion.

F. What are the long-term benefits of Nitrogen filled tires?

1. Extended Tire Life - with tires maintaining better pressure, tire life can be significantly extended

2. Oxidation is Eliminated - with nitrogen, there is no more oxidation of inner tires, belt packages, valve stem hardware or air pressure monitoring devices.

ADVANTAGES OF TIRES INFLATED WITH NITROGEN

1. Nitrogen doesn't react chemically with the sidewall of tires. This could lower the chances of tire explosion and enhance the safety of driving.

2. Due to larger molecules of Nitrogen than Oxygen, cars with Nitrogen-filled tires could maintain "constant" tire pressure, thus reduce the vibration when driving.

3. When the compressed air is not moist and greasy air, the rubber molecules of tires would not lose their intensity and elasticity.

4. When the tires are inflated with Nitrogen, the aluminum-alloy/steel wheel ri would not be oxidized and deformed easily.

5. Due to the lower sound speed in Nitrogen gases, driving cars with Nitrogen-filled tires is less noisy and more comfortable.

6. About 80% of the cars are inflated insufficiently. According to the report, Nitrogen spreads 40% slower than general air in tires, thus Nitrogen-filled tires can save gasoline cost and economize the use of tires. It's also beneficial to environmental protection.
