205 or 225 BFG drag radials...
All motor setup, 208 whp, full interior DC4, would u recommend 205 or 225/50/15 drag radials, these are gonna be mounted probably on crappy rotas, and this is just for the 1/4 mile track

I am pretty sure 225 is the width of the tire, not the height, so the only difference between the 2 sizes is surface area obviously the 225 has more area contacting the ground.... If you can fit them, get the 225. But if its only for track i would say slicks hands down. the best feeling when they hook up

no, the 225 doesnt exactly mean the width.
the wider the tire goes it also gets taller.
a 225/50/15 is 0.8 inches taller than a 205/50/15

i heard of guys getting good 60 foots w/ slicks.
My room mate just got some 225's on a 4.4 f/d. Thats what you will want if you insist on buying them

The "50" in the 225-50-15 means the side wall of the tire is 50% of the width of the tire (225mm)
. A 225-50-15 will always be taller than a 205-50-15.

225
I must say I used to switch between MT Slicks and the Radials. Slicks were def easier to launch on.
These tires get STICKY, I broke an axle using these tires and not slicks
