it will work. crt pistons have larger valve cut outs in them. your not using high lift cam so you will be alright

planning on a DD/weekend warrior with as much AutoX and track runs as possible. looking for probably like 220-230whp i'm thinking from reading some other threads with similar builds.

i am using a b16 head with a b18a block. i am also running Toda adjustable cam gears yes.

i did a few motors this way with gsr heads and they were running 91 octane and on the weekends mix in some 100 oct. to this day have had no problems the only thing i did not use stock are the rods for high reving it just a little scary and even that my homies are getting 224=half a tank of gas so put it to average it out to 22-25 per gallon and 3 years strong and racing the **** out of them on the weekends but this is just my $0.02

what did you do to the head? which aftermarket rods did you use? I'm just shotpeening mine, hopefully that'll be ok. OEM Honda is good stuff soooooo hopefully they'll stay strong.

I'm bringing my head to King Motorsports this winter, but I'll be running my set up all summer till then :-/

sadly I do not, I have a B16 Shortblock and some 9mm ARP rod bolts too if interested. Been trying to sell the B16 for a while. You think $300 is asking to much for the shortblock? Askign going price for ARP, they're brand new.
