Default full rebuild D16A6 suggestion

so me and my friend "j" were standing in front my my CRX SI with the stock D16A6 and i am doing a full rebuild. i then told him that i am about to buy new eagle forged pistons after i bore out the block. but he tells me to not do that he says go with the VITARA swap (which is swapping a SUZUKI VITARA piston set into a stock D16A6) i want everyones opinion what do you think. there is about a 200 dollar difference between then and the eagle forged pistons are more costly. but honestly what will help me in the long run by the way the car has all stock internals my rebuild has just started. thanks for the help

Before you go any further on that car. gather up about $1000, and buy a one way plane ticket to seattle, buy a clean CRX that is rust free, and drive it back (Easily found for around $1K here). Do not waste time on a car with that much rust. It is almost hard to find a car around here with rust on it at all.

ya your asking the wrong question here. Its should I spend this kind of money on a car that is not going to last another year structurally.
