Default are after market valves worth it?

I’m about to be Installing cams with springs and retainers. Before I do I wanted to find out if spending money on aftermarket valves is worth the money. I’m not going hardcore on the motor but I am building the valve train just to raise the redline. So is aftermarket actually better than Hondas?
Also I’m keeping it all-motor and I want to keep it OEM and use the Type S pistons. How mush power can I actually get out of those.

you have to ask yourself how many miles are on the valves and how often do you push the motor to redline. if you are over 100K and upgrade the valvetrain it would be pretty shitty to drop a valve after replacing everything else. what im trying to say is replace the valves. as far as aftermarket being better than OEM, they are lighter. thats about it. dont go with an undercut stem if this is going to be a street motor and you plan on putting miles on it.

Thanks. The car only has 30,000 miles on it so I guess I could go any way.
