Putnam Park (IN) HPDE April 12-13 Hoosier BMW CCA
Just wondering if anyone here is going to this event? You'll find details here.
If anyone's considering it, Putnam Park is a great track for beginners and experienced drivers alike. For the novices, there's lots of runoff room and not much to hit; it's a fairly short track and visibility is good, so it's easy to learn. For experienced drivers, it's got a lot of flow to it, and a variety of turns, and also a lot of passing zones (four in the advanced group, on this 1.8-mile 10-turn track). The Hoosier Chapter folks are cool and welcome cars of all makes. I've been instructing at this event with them for the past dozen years. Last year the event wasn't quite full so I'm sure there are still openings. It's a great way to start out the season!
If anyone has any questions about it, LMK.
