Default Ku engineering Intake mani

Last year i bought a Ku manifold, i fell victim to its aweseom welds and mirror finish. i installed it on my car and it works, i never dyno'd after but i wish i would have. I had idle surging problems as well as not being able to keep a cruise at any speed , its was either constant accelaration or deaceleration never a steady cruise. Is there anyone that has the ku engineering intake manifold working consistantly ?

A friend (eg6 b18swap) here in Italy run this manifold with 70mm tb and no problem at all.

He really enjoy this mani and he says it gives impressive power and torque .

You have only to move some ports and connect the idle valve control with a separate circuit

I'm going to buy one of this

that is really good to hear . thanks alot . I also felt the increase in power , but i was always wondering if it was worth it because i would not run right. my idle surging sounded cool for about a week and the exhaust tone changed up alot . but not holding a cruise got old realy fast , and they hated me at the dirve through .... with the car idleing it did .

I think your problem is only the right connection to the idle valve control.

Take a look to this pic, this is the way he connected the idle valve to the manifold and to the OCT. The valve is now separate from the manifold

He closed the original ports and opened others

I hope the pics can help you

It actually "looks" like a pretty good design

You have an ecu codes? Surging idle sounds like a IACV or tps problem. The problem with steady-state operation sounds like a O2 sensor problem.
