Need new washer bottle for HID's?
Hey guys, I currently have the JDM non HID headlights in my car, and I have ordered and just picked up some new HID units. I was all ready to install them, but now Im wondering about the washer bottle. I know there is a different one for the HID so it will help clear the ballasts, but is it really needed? Will the new lights fit without replacing the bottle?
Thanks

wont fit without removing the balast or the wiper bottle. you will need the jdm unit since the top piece can flex
I used a heat gun to warm up the neck of the bottle until it was hot enough to be able to bend it out of the way of the ballast. You could use the jdm wiper bottle but I'm cheap and I had two usdm bottles so I figured I would get it right in two tries.

not the best picture, i took it when i was removing my engine to be built, but you can kinda see the washer bottle, its the stock usdm bottle, and iv got jdm hid headlights installed, i didnt move the bottle at all, the headlights go in just fine, theres a little bit of clearance, iv even got the jdm washer bottle, it came with my front clip, but i didnt need to use it
