175whp = stock cams
188whp = stock cams with EuroR IM
193whp = Crower stage 2 cams with EuroR IM

with 175whp in a 1998 Honda Prelude, the car went 14.0 at 96.6 with the following modifications:
stock internal h22a
short ram intake with Bpi flowstack
RMF header
2.25" catback
stock ported IM with blacktrax spacer
s2000 throttle body
Crome Pro
no ac, ps, cruise..etc
22x8x15 MT ET drag

Not too long after the dyno of 193whp with the crower cams, i found that they had eaten into the rocker pads. I came to believe that the reason why the cams did not make significantly more power and why the power graph was weird.

I never got a chance to run the car at the track with 188whp or 193whp as i was afraid of popping an axle but i am a firm believer that the car would have busted a mid 13 or so.

H22A1 10:1 CR 126k miles
Skunk2 Pro1 Cams
Supertech springs and retainers
Ebay header (50mm), Megan test pipe (60mm), RSR Exhaust (60mm)
AEM CAI
Blacktrax spacer
STOCK: Block, Valves, IM, TB

Tuned by Chris @ XENOCRON on eCtune.
3rd gear pulls

just for reference, an ITR with bolt-ons and smsp header made 178whp on this dyno.

i chose these cams because of the previous post. saw awesome gains on a relatively stock motor. my older dyno with a different header had a huge dip right in the power band (5500-6500rpm). i suspected that the problem was because of lack of compression because i was on stock compression. the real reason was because i was using the camp1320 header, which has a 2.5" collector and it bottle necked down to 2.36" exhaust. either it was the bottle neck effect or it was the header itself. either way, i have better results with the ebay header.
