I was wondering if I could use Turtle Wax for clear coats as the 3rd step in this 3 step process instead of the carnuba wax without doing any damage to the paint or anything? I was thinking that since it's summer, and carnuba will just melt away in like a day anyway, should I use the Turtle Wax for a better protectant against the sun and heat????

And after doing the first two coats and having washed the car already, I'm not sure my arm will make it through taking off a coat of the streaky carnuba wax????

Carnuba wax is the best wax to use on your car. Under normal conditions it will last approx 4-6 weeks with proper application.

pleae explain this further?? You washed your car after step 2 and before step 3?? Huh?? Are you letting the wax dry to a haze or are you over applying the coat to thick??? Your doing something wrong son.

 

Use Meguiars Gold Class clear coat wax, it:
A: Smells good
B: Applies on easy since its liquid
C: Comes off easy
D: Leaves an amazing shine and lasts long

I've been using it for about a year now and I am 100% satisfied with it.
