Default Will a Type S ECU pass emissions?

Say I do a Type S swap,

OR------

Have my SH built to Type S specs.

Anyone know of potential emission issues using a Type S ECU?

this has nothing to do with what the OP asked...

please stop posting before reading the question.

actually, based on all the other threads you've started and gotten locked, please just stop posting.

Now, onto the real thing:

More info would be nice, what state you're emission testing in (CA is more restrictive than say TX), what else the car has had done to it (cat removed, etc) before you can get a real response to your question.

Emissions for GA.

I am specifically referring to the ECU throwing codes which will cause a fail.

how/why is would the ECU be throwing codes again?

yes, a CEL light will cause you to not pass inspection/emissions...

Fellas. Hope everyone's weekend is treating them well.
Let me revise my question:

Does anyone know if a Type S ECU (JDM) will pass US OBD2 emissions? With no other mods done but the Type S swap.

I'm using a JDM TYpe S ECU right now, and the answer is no because an OBD Scanner does not read the ECU

It depends on your state/county's emissions requirements. Do they just do a visual or do they do a plug in test ? Im not sure about GA but here in Pa it really depends on what county you live in. And also how many miles you drive, under 5k is emissions exempt here so it wouldnt matter if the scanner could communicate.

Thanks for the feedback. Just what I was looking for.

Emission exemption would be nice. Unfortunately, they do visual and plug-in tests in my county so the biggest problem would be communication with a JDM ECU.
