Default 0.040 or 0.030 Head Gasket with Domed Pistons!

I am looking at a set of Wiseco 88mm Domed pistons for my F22. Wiseco advises that a 0.040 crush hight head gasket will need to be used to keep there recommended 0.030 P2H&V clearances. I do not need, nor want to spend, $130 on a PITA 0.043 Copper HG. I am not running any boost so it would be a waste of money.

What I would like to know is if anyone has used the Wiseco High Compression, domed pistons on an H23/F22 or H22 and used a regular multi layered steel 0.030 crush hight head gasket. And if you did, what did you end up having for P2H&V clearances? Or did you have to flycut the pistons to get proper clearances?

Cheers

Comtec does make an 88mm 0.040 HG for an H22. Will the H22 HG work on an F22B2. Because if it will then all my questions are answered?

Who said anything about actually taking anything to heart. I use what is said on these websites as a search tool to actually find info for myself.

I am quite capable of measuring thank you. I just don't feel like buying 3 different head gaskets to get the right one if someone else has done a similar build. I figured that there are still some technical folks left on this site that may actually help rather than post useless drivel. Thanks for the heads up though
