alright, well im trying to plan things out and in a few months i will be needing to move to SM (in FSP now). im worried that i will be extremely outclassed in SM so im wondering if there is a street tire SM class? i mean, i saw there is SM2, but from what i read it looks as if that class is only for 2 seaters? did i understand that right? i was thinking i may be more competitive in a class where im not running on r compound tires... maybe not. any thoughts?

unfortuantely no...
however, run on street tires and just have fun! Thats what its all about, right? Work on skills, your line, being smooth, and all that other stuff you're supposed to be doing

Last time I checked, I dont remeber autoxing to be about being smoth
its about how well you can throw your car around a tight course, smooth if for the track.
And as for the favor, IM me and I will ask you...or I will just leave you one when I get the chance
thanks

You have IM
Being smooth and being aggressive are the key points for autocross. If you are not smooth with the throttle, brakes, steering application, you will lose momentum, scrub off speed, and not utilize the space you are allotted between the cones effectively. That does not mean you arent aggressive. I've been told i'm very aggressive with my car - however i am still smooth with it, which i've also been told. Keeping weight transfer in check, maximizing momentum through turns, etc, etc are all very hard skills to learn, i'm very much still working on them each time out. However, the biggest thing that helped me make a step up in being smooth is looking ahead.
for Evolution sk00Ls...
