Default Wheel hub removal???'s

oka heres the low down. i have a 88 hatch std. my passenger wheel bearing went out. BAD. bearings are shot... anyways im going to be sending them out to a bearing shop for them to put new bearings in both hubs and new ball joints. here is where im at. i have the wheels off caliper undone, lowere ball joint undone. now its the upper ball joint and the one for the steering arm. i need to preserve the last two ball joints til i can take the car to a shop to have those replaced, so my question is how can i remove the last two ball joints? ive tried hammering it out it moved a little but not much. thnxs guys..

tico, loosen the 17mm nut on the upper a arm. do not remove it just loosen it up a few threads, then hit the knuckle itself and the arm SHOULD want to come off. also remove the 17mm nut for the tie rod and hit with a hammer also.
