Default vibrant universal flat black muffler

I recently boughta universal black vibrant type r style muffler for my new gsr swap but before I could get the motor in the car my stock ek exhaust broke off and im stuck with a loud noise. So I figured id just throw the vibrant on the stock piping for the meanwhile til I get the motor put in the ill get all my kteller piping. But when I went to mieneke to get it put on my friend told me it won't fit straight, itd have to be down on an angle which is so ricey looking so I said no. He said any other way and it'll hit my s2 lca's. But he did say it MIGHT work if I redid the rear section but I don't wanna do that id rather just wait for my kteller ss piping. I wanna know if anyone has had this same problem with this particular muffler and if not, can show me and tell me how they did it and post pics of how it looks.

Again its a 96 ek hatch w/ a ctr rear lip and s2 lca's

Stock piping to a large oval (like vibrant, or ES) style muffler will sound very high pitched and raspy, FYI.

well im not putting on with my oem piping anymore, seeing that im getting so close to the swap im just gonna wait till i get the kteller piping but i need to know how it will fit with the 2.5" kteller piping.

Like will I have to cut the kteller piping if i just get it for a 96-00 civic hatch 2.5" stainless steel? or should it just bolt right up if i put a flange on the end of the universal vibrant muffler?

I have it on my 96 hatch. I redid all my piping when I had it installed though. You cannot just cut the old muffler off and weld this one on. The piping does need to be shortened up. Why do you want the kteller piping. Just get some cheap mandrel bent.
