"06" vs. "07+ " bushings/SS package. aren't they the same??

I have an 08, should i go for the newer ones and just not risk it?

They fit slightly different i would go with the 07's set to be sure i doubt they changed it from 07 !

they are different.... every year is a little deifferent so if you want tthe best fit ..and dont want to risk it just get it from
http://www.twmperformance.com i got mine for my( 07, si) it workss really good ..!

they offer both base and cable bushings. Whats the difference? do i need both? why?

yes you need both cause the base is to make the shift shorter .and the cable bushings is to make it nice and stifff when you put it into gear ..! yes you need both man ..

whoops. Just ordered the SS with only cable bushings for express mail. All i want is for it to eliminate the notchiness which bothers my recently broken/separated shoulder. Kevin from TWM told me over the phone that it wasn't necessary to get the base ones in my case.

doesn't the shortshifter make it a....shortshifter???

no! just a shorter trow. you should get the alum bushings to compleat the feal! if your having trouble with 3rd go to norris honda in dundalk and tell them you're problem . they are replacing my sycros right now.
