ok so i have a b18c1 CRX with about 250hp all motor and pretty low miles 50k min and 80k max and i wanted to pick up draging now my dad being the *** hole he is says he dont want me racing on the street so i ask wat if i just drag it and he got mad about that and says he wants me to have a relyable car to get me to and from work blaw blaw blaw i was just wondering how bad would it be for an engine to drag it no turbos all motor?? how much can GSRs take. from wat ive seen they can handle a lot of stress

 

as much as i would like to drag, i side with your dad and i just wanna keep mine as a nice DD.
Dragging just puts more stress on the engine.

My stock d16 with 250k did 100+ runs and was still running when I changed
to a b series, and I have 100+ runs on it 40 with a 75shot and still running
strong. But the part I worry about is the tranny, the open differentials are
weak just don't launch to hard and it should be fine. What's done to your
motor to get 250hp all motor, is that wheel hp?

 

well nothings stock in the thing everythings aftermarket im the person who gets the most out of the engine as possible before forced injection i like raw power the most
