Default Edelbrock victor x, good idea or bad idea?

wats up h-t? ive got a gsr in my eg, and a friend of mine has a good deal on an Edelbrock Victor X intake manifold. IVe read all the reviews and product details that say the manifold is good for power at 7000 to 10000. This car is my daily but as of right now im getting the motor ready for the track this summer. I have the basic mods on my motor as well as CTR cams an valve springs and retainers and a type r bottom end is soon to be installed. My question is would this intake manifold be worth it? Im bouncing between boosting my car and keeping it n/a. The manifold is good for both. If i boost it should i get it? what about if i go n/a? anyone have this manifold on their car? if so how do you like it?

If you are planning to build the motor and tune it, then this manifold is a good investment.

Yes, i dont see why it wouldnt be.
Its an intake manifold, not some side-exit exhaust from the front bumper, lol.
