Default del sol body question

not sure if this should be in the AC forum but it has some technical significance.

does anyone know how to remove the pillars behind the driver and passenger and the mirrors on a del sol?

It's been a while since I had my del sol, but if I remember correctly, that door panel should come off, then it should be pretty obvious. Try that?

remove the door panels, look in and you should see 2 bolts very close together one above the other, then theres a third bolt about 2 inches to the left it should come right off, as for the back plates there are 2 screws in each back plate one at the top and one at the botton inside of the pannel, once you remove your third brake light it will reveal the screws, as for the bottom screws you need to open your trunk, unscrew them, now the tricky part, there is a white clip on the inside of the plate, wedge a flat head screw driver under it gently to no break the clip once the clip is lifted a bit gently wiggle the panel from the top and the clips should release, repeat for the other side.
i just did this last night for the first time, take it slow, don't break those clips!
