Default My first rex.....now do go I go Boost or NA.....

Just picked up my first CRX this week.
Its got no exhaust.....and enough bondo to scare Chip Foose.
Heres some pics:

Its going to get stripped and repainted.
I already have new doors, molding, and skirts for it.
Now the only question is, do I want boost.....or na.

I've had alot of fun with my 97 ex running 12.5lbs,

But I've never played around with na and I'm wondering if this crx would be a good
start.

Anyone know what kind of power people are getting with mods on b16a motors?
Did you go with high compression?
I need some ideas to start from, so let me know what you did to yours.

ROFL..

Yeah that is worth it for sure though.. even if its a hoopty, it would be a really funny daily or race car.. You should definitely boost it though.. you think your 4 door is fast but boost that rex at 12.5 psi.. and you will really be moving..

From what I understand b16's will handle a decent amount of boost with just forged pistons. I'm thinkin 8 to 10lbs will push me over the 200hp mark.

But I've always wanted to try and push one of these past 200 with just motor. Just seems like it would be fun to make power the hard way.

the hard way is right.. $/hp ratio is way higher for NA than boost.. dont get me wrong, I love NA builds that rev ridiculously high, but if your on a budget, boost is more effective.

You can hit 300hp on a b16 pretty easy.. probably less than $2000 to do it..
