HELP! How do i remove the bottom half of the backseats in my 90' DX hatch?
Hey guys, my beaters rear carpet got pulled from under the backseats and i want to put it back into place and secure it somehow, but i got 1 problem. I have no idea how to take out the bottom half of the backseats!
I searched and i saw no pictures but was told it was held in with clips?? Is that right? I couldnt find any clips, but can pull the seats out (bottom)from the back part where the seat belts poke out of, and pull it forward, but cant get the part that hooks into the body loose. HELP!!

a wide flat pry bar or gasket scraper can help... they get kinda funked up but if your facing the rear of the car.. you push the seat towards the back and up you should be able to see the two clips that hold it into the floor panel.
Thanks guys for all the help! I pryed it out ghetto style, lol with some hedge clippers under the seat and pushed it up using it as leverage. lol Got it out, thanks again!!!
so basically on both of the two seats there are two black clips. When you pull them all the way forward you should see them. If you take some pliers you should be able to just pull them out. Then the two of them should come out if you push it towards the center then pull out. Then if you want to take the bottom half out of the rear seats then all you have to do is just take out the screw thats holding it in. Then it should come out easily. Just pull it forward and you have it. Nothing all to special.
