the canister is stainless steel and the piping is steel with titanium flake coating. its great quality and has great rust resistance.

my N1 cansister got rusted~ is where the weld mark is, the rust is like a crack beside the weld mark. I am going to get it weld back and hopefully it should be still good. So, the Apex N1 WILL rust ppl.

i've had a custom, aluminized steel exhaust for many years now, AND i live right by the beach, however my exhaust is fine. I do not know exactly what the construction of the APEXi N1 was made of, but stainless steel should outlast aluminized steel, and titanium should own all in rust resistance. The longest warranty I have seen on a stainless steel exhaust or any exhaust is 5 years. Longest warranty on mufflers... I have seen lifetime warranties. I say contact APEXi about that and I would see no reason why a major company like them would not replace the muffler. 1.5 years is too short of a time for it to rust, considering it is stainless steel. I buy an aluminized POS dynomax muffler and had it replaced under warranty like 4 times. So i see no reason why a bigger company, more renowned for quality wouldnt honor a replacement.

Anyone know what's the weight on the Apexi N1 cat-back........I want to compare it's weight to the stock cat-back (wonder if there's any weight saving!)

WhosITR ~ I forgot to weight my N1 before I put them on my car
