over sprey clear coat ?

Default over sprey clear coat ?

i just got done spraying the clear coat on my car and i sprayed to much on some spots and it started dripping what is the best way to take care of this?

lol sandpaper and or rubbing compound (the cut part) then buff it out with a buffer...or if its really bad and the clear is completely cured you can take a razor blade to it to scrape it down then sand then buff and polish. Or use a file/cheese grater

ok thanks,

some one said to sand it with 1200 and then with a 2000 and then re clear coat is it necessary to re clear.

take a single edge razor, run it across some 1000 grit to make a burr on the edge, then bend the razor in a slight U shape with the burr on the outside edge

then take that razor and gently drag it across the run after its nice and dry. it works best when the paint is fully cured

once its almost level you can wet sand and buff

it works very good!

This method works best after you bake the car or let it cure for a week or two.
