Default Fuel leak from tank area!

Today i filled up my tank topping it off. I drove about 20 minutes away and parked... I sat in the car for about 10 minutes and when i got out i noticed a little stream of fluid. It looked black and when i touched it, it was black and looked like oil but DEF smelled like fuel.

I looked under and can see fuel dripping down very slowly though. Any ideas or experience wanted please. I rather order some parts now than drop the tank twice. I am gonna look under tomorro if weather permits to see the general area of leak......

Any ideas whats leaking under there?

Driver or Passenger side of the tank?

Looks to be from the driver side...but not sure if its just dripping to that end or if its actually leaking from the driver side.

Could be from the return line. There is a junction with a plastic cover by the rear wheel. I had a leak there once and replaced the line with fuel line.

A friends DA integra dropped a small puddle of gas after topping it right up, there was a hole in the tube that transfers petrol from the hole to the tank.

I have changed a couple filler necks that were leaking right at the tank.

Hopefully i can look today, I won't have time to drop the tank till saturday. Looks like it could be a few things, So before i buy anything i guess i'll drop the tank and take a look. Hopefully the tank will be almost empty by then.

I am only getting about 200 miles per full tank! Motor is a b16 with J1 tranny and PW0

Did you change the actual filler neck or a gasket that seals it?
That neck is like 100 bucks from honda. Sure hope its not the Neck or Tank itself. Awhile back i did smell fuel inside the car after i filled the tank up. I don't smell any fuel inside now at all. So not sure why it went away on its own

So i noticed the fuel pressure gauge when i turned the car off was at like 30psi.
A few hours later while still parked it read 0PSI.

I wanted to know if the fuel system is supposed to drop to 0PSI after the car has been sitting for awhile or is it supposed to retain pressure?

running I believe mine sits around the 40psi mark and it drops a bit after the car is shut off. My fuel pressure will drop to zero, but I think it takes a day or so before it does that.

I have an 89 honda crx have noticed fuel leaking from front of gas tank and on drivers side by the fuel neck filler and overflow line. I replaced all the hoses on the drivers side of the tank. I ran it for around 10 mins to check for leaks. I then topped it off and took it for a test drive. Came back same problem. When I had dropped the tank I checked the fuel sending unit and fuel pump housing both looked good no fuel leakage was present in the area. So Im at a dilemma as to where the fuel can be coming from.

How about the rubber hose that connects the tank to the filler neck?
