Please, few questions about Tanabe Hyper piping...
I know the tanabe hyper medallion is 60mm piping which equals 2.36 inches but the questions im having is about if you notice the piping on this exhaust, when it meets the collector by the test pipe, it shrinks from 2.36 to a smaller size(not sure how small), would that effect performance? and another quesiton is, what if i ran 2.5 piping instead of 2.36, from test pipe to axle back, would i notice any gains then? My motor is pretty built, compression 12.1, beefy cams, etc. Please let me know any thoughts or opinions.
Most of the "jdm" ricer exhaust systems I have seen have a bottleneck like that somewhere. If you are hardcore and looking for that extra hp or two then eliminate it or get a better system.
