code 14 on my b16
hey h-t wats up. So i just got done putting my b16 in my hatch and its running a code 14 which is IACV. What i was wondering is what are some things this effects or it does because of the iacv being bad and my motor is a obd0 can i just a a iacv off an integra obd0. Thanx in advance
It could be wiring or the valve.
When picking another IACV just make sure the bolt pattern/ spacing is right. I think there are 2 different bolt patterns, but I assume they all function the same.

o ok cool so i can get one if i need one, and the sensor it self i think is broke and what kind of systoms does it have. My car runs real good except for it has a reall low idle no matter what and seems like its taking in to much air, will the iacv do this. thanx
if its taking lot of air then go ahead and close the idle screw. also check that the connection is hooked up good to the IACV when the IACV is bad or its not connected well the motor will studder when you accelerate
are you sure that you have the right connector plugged into the IACV? - we see a lot of swaps with the wrong connectors plugged in - the IACV, IAT and the Tandem Control Valve, if it is a DX or STD, all have the same connectors and are easily switched - the IACV connector has 2-wires, blue/yellow and black/yellow - a bad IACV will usually cause a fluctuating idle - very low idle is usually a sign to look for the wrong connector - to check the IACV, unplug the connector and the idle should drop to around 500rpm and remain steady - if the idle doesn't change, either it has the wrong connector or the problem is somewhere else - the IACV connector on the DX and STD is green in color

o tru very possible i thnk i have a plug that is red/white and green/white which is probably wrong lol but i still think its bad itself but this might help thanx
