Default Timing

Hey guys.... Just built a D16A6 and trying to get the timing for crank and head. Do I go from top dead center or the little arrow? Please help desperate to get car on the road. Thanks in advance..... Mr Bill

Default Re: Timing (red rx 91)

White mark on crank pulley for cranks TDC.

On the D16a6 the cam pulley is different than most all the rest. Here is the scoop.

When you align the cam gear there are two marks that line up with the valve cover to head seat and the word top is on top of the gear. This would make sense right? wrong. On the A6 you will need to turn the cam gear one tooth counterclockwise when looking at it from the pulley's side of the car (drivers side).

I wish I knew where that Pic of it was?
